Poster Session

The posters will be on display throughout the conference in the Großer Festsaal from 21 to 24 September and will be accessible during the conference opening hours.

Please take the opportunity to have a look at the posters and discuss them during the coffee breaks, which will also take place in the same room.

The Poster Session itself will take place on Thursday, 24 September, from 15:30 onwards, accompanied by drinks and snacks.

Posters can be put up from Sunday, 20 September onwards. We would appreciate it if all posters could be in place by Monday.

• The best poster will receive the “SFB BeyondC Best Poster Prize”, which is endowed with €300.To be eligible for the award, at least the first author must be personally present at the Poster Session on Thursday.

The maximum poster size is A0 (portrait orientation).

Poster Flash Talks

3-Minute Flash Talk Guidelines

The Flash Talk provides a brief opportunity to introduce your research and highlight the key message of your poster.

• Each Flash Talk is limited to 3 minutes. The time limit will be strictly enforced.
• Use 1–3 slides. Maxium 5.
• There will be no questions during the Flash Talk.

Presentation Testing

All Flash Talk speakers are required to test their presentations during the lunch break on the day of their Flash Talk:

• Monday: 12:30–13:50 / Thursday: 12:30–13:50

Check your slides and ensure that your presentation runs correctly.

Please note: Technical testing immediately before the session will not be possible. Please arrive by 13:50 at the latest and be ready when your session begins.

Technical Requirements

• Presentation format: PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF
• Please bring your presentation on a USB stick.
• A conference laptop will be provided. Alternatively, speakers may use their own device.
• Apple adapters are not available on site. Please bring your own adapter if required.
